The free online guide Anti-Counterfeiting and Online Brand Enforcement: Global Guide 2021, issued by the English-language trade magazine World Trademark Review (WTR), now offers up-to-date information and tips for brand protection experts. Topics range from the latest legal developments in trademark protection in selected countries to effective brand enforcement on the Internet.

The guide is organized into two key sections: In a first main chapter, leading law firms highlight important background knowledge for brand protection. This includes focus topics such as brand enforcement on the Internet, the return-on-investment of brand protection measures, the significance of protected trademarks for seizures, and a focus article on the pharmaceutical market.

A second section then offers hands-on analyses. Here, the general frameworks of selected countries are examined, including France, Germany, Greece, and Italy; as well as Canada, China, India, Russia, and Turkey. One focus is on the different procedures in the respective countries, relevant legal frameworks, and suitable strategies. The articles also highlight common procedures, for example at customs borders, for prosecution, and for further legal steps.

The comprehensive Anti-Counterfeiting and Online Brand Enforcement: Global Guide 2021 is available in English language for free on the World Trademark Review website.
