In co-operation with the European Patent Office (EPO), the IPO Education Foundation is holding a conference in Munich on 14 November 2017 on the subject of European patent law.
The one-day event is aimed primarily at patent specialists from the private sector and law firms, as well as government agencies operating in Europe. Several plenary sessions are devoted to topics such as the unitary patent, harmonisation and the work of the Boards of Appeal.
Participants will also have the opportunity to attend various workshops led by practitioners and representatives of the EPO, where important questions and current developments in the field of patents can be discussed. The workshop topics include, among other things, patent searches, the patenting of computer-implemented inventions as well as amendments and exclusions of liability for patents.
Throughout the conference, you will have the opportunity to talk in depth with the EPO’s experts. For more information on the event and registration, please visit the EPO and IPO websites. Deadline for registration is 10 November 2017.
