In October, the Global Brand Protection Summit will bring together various industry experts in Amsterdam to discuss current challenges in brand protection and effective strategies to safeguard businesses. Be there!

The annual Global Brand Protection Summit, to be held for the 8th time, is taking place on the 3rd and 4th of October in Amsterdam. The conference will give participants the opportunity to take part in informative lectures as well as gain assistance in the development of a brand protection strategy for their own businesses in private discussions with industry experts.

During the event, you will be able to choose the thematic focus most relevant to your business and either attend a tailor-made programme for brand protection in the premium and luxury goods sector or attend a cross-sector programme that offers insights into promising cooperations.

The focus of the summit will be on the implementation of a holistic brand protection concept: for example Chris Vansteenkiste from Europol is to report on the authority’s experience in the enforcement of IP laws, while Jan de Visser of Philips Intellectual Property & Standards will provide important insights into piracy defense on the internet. Concerning the luxury goods sector, Kevin Mutch from Fabergé will talk about the specific challenges faced by luxury brands and Charles Olschanski of Tiffany will share the company’s knowledge regarding the prosecution of counterfeiters online and offline. Presentations as well as practical tips and tricks on anti-piracy measures round out the event.

More detailed information about the programme as well as the possibility to register can be found on the event website.
