CONCEPT CREATION AND DESIGN FOR
EDUCATIONAL ADVENTURE TRAIL

Down-Pfeil

As a regional energy supplier, Albwerk is setting a good example for the local energy transition. For example, with the solar park in Lonsee. In order to present this commitment and the knowledge about renewable energies to a broader public, we are developing an interactive educational trail through the solar park. With fun and games, it provides visitors with interesting facts about the park as well as solar power.

Creating the CONCEPT of the adventure trail, we paid special attention to the pupils of the nearby elementary school as well as to families as target groups.

The content and design of the information boards at the six stations in total – as well as the selection of interactive elements – are developed accordingly.

SUNNY, the little solar explorer, takes visitors on a discovery tour of the solar park.

She guides them through the various topics related to the park. Starting with the sun as a celestial body and clock, through solar power generation to the flora and fauna in the solar park.

The SOLAR RALLY offers fun and excitement along the way. Pens and passports are provided at the starting points of the trail.

With the help of information given at each station, young and old explorers can then solve the tricky puzzles in the rally pass.

The individual stations are eye-catchingly and vividly designed. INTERACTIVE ELEMENTS invite children to join in and try things out: including a human sundial, a giant threading game, and numerous folding and rotating elements.

They convey the many aspects of the topics of solar power and energy transition in a playful way and ensure that children are made aware of climate protection and sustainability at an early age.

Numerous folding panels show that the solar park is not only about energy and power generation, but also about climate and environmental protection in general. Behind the flaps, visitors can discover animals and plants for which the solar park serves as a habitat or retreat.

Those who have cracked all the puzzles of the rally will find out the numerical code to the stamp box at the end of the path. As a reward, they can stamp their solar explorer certificate on the back of the rally pass.
